About World Vision

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organisation dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to tackle the root causes of poverty and injustice. Working in nearly 100 countries around the world, we serve all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. With the support from Child Sponsorships and other donations, World Vision implements community development projects to help provide access to education, water and sanitation, food and nutrition, healthcare, economic development and child protection programmes in impoverished communities.

In Mongolia

World Vision has been working in Mongolia since 1993 and is one of the leading NGOs there. In Selenge province, where 30% of the population live in poverty, World Vision has been running a long-term Area Programme (AP) supported through Child Sponsorship, to help vulnerable children and their families struggling with poverty and natural disasters. 10 children from our Selenge AP seek to contribute their talent for this Art of Love Collection, to help other vulnerable children in their community. These children have built their self-confidence and artistic skills through the support of World Vision’s child development clubs. These unique art pieces depict their hopes for their future and homeland.

ENTERPRISING MUMS UNITED
As mothers, the founders of Enterprising Mums United LLP (EMU), a social enterprise, clearly understand the challenges faced by single mums struggling to make ends meet and stay-at-home mums (SAHMs) from low/middle income families' (with young children) financial constraints. Hence, EMU aims to bring like-minded individuals together in a non-competitive environment, especially mothers from Singapore and the regional Asian communities, by providing marketing platform such as pop up retail to promote curated items made by these like-minded individuals and to guide them into creating a more sustainable business through the use of right business tools. The Little Big Tree is pleased to collaborate with EMU as social-impact strategic partner to support EMU’s network of enterprising and talented individuals.

Find out more about EMU on their social medias and visit their current pop-up retail at Marina One Social Market Place at Marina One, 7 Straits View, East Tower, B2-55. Operating hours: 11am to 3pm - Monday to Friday. Other timings by appointment only.
